The Inheritance Cycle?

Dear Mr. Paolini,
Being a fan of all things fantasy,w hen i first picked up Eragon, I was enthralled. Granted, it was short than the fantasy books that I normally read, I decided to forgive you for that slight misstep. Then, reading it, i was enthralled, the world of Alagaesia was engaging and i got the 2nd book as soon as it came out, despite the exorbitant price. Now, that is how much of a fan i am of this series and your writing style, you must understand that, first and foremost.
However, when Brisingr came out, i admit I was a bit disappointed would have asked for my money back had I not already been so invested in the continuation of this series. This book was a little over twice the size of the first book and it could have been the same size with all the needless things that were put in it. Making a book that long to "claim" to need to turn the series into a cycle has made me a bit miffed at you and your publishers. This series could have been done with Brisingr, and all true fans know that. Not only is it not done but that book was published over a year ago and I have not heard any news of the fourth one coming out, the one you claimed needed to be separated from the third one because it was "too long" already.
I may forgive you for the absurdly terrible movie because it was probably not you that made it so "made for sci fi channel". However, this thing I can not forgive and doubt i will buy the last book, though I will still read it. I just no longer care enough to buy a book for an author that has disappointed me so much.
Signed,
A Disenchanted Fan
